Singer-lyricist David Huckfelt is a founding member of Minneapolis indie-folk cult favorites The Pines and an advocate & activist in the lineage of Woody Guthrie. Johnny Cash & John Trudell. His breakout debut solo record “Stranger Angels” was written as Artist-In-Residence at Isle Royale National Park and he has partnered with such diverse organizations as Winona LaDuke’s “Honor the Earth”, Will Steger’s Wilderness Center, and Seed Savers Exchange Farm. Huckfelt has shared stages with artists from Emmylou Harris, Mavis Staples, & Greg Brown to Bon Iver, Arcade Fire, Trampled By Turtles & Calexico, and his songwriting has been called some of the finest of his generation.
